This works perfectly. It is super easy to set and delivers food precisely at the scheduled point. The recording of the voice is terrible but it works and my pet is not afraid of it although it sounds like a strangled version of me hahaha I would recommend it for sure. I love this feeder. I haven't needed to personally feed my cat in over 2 weeks and now he gets fed 5 times a day instead of twice a day. The programming options are great. You can choose between 1 and 5 feedings a day. You can select how much food for each feeding (measured by an arbitrary serving size) and the time of each feeding. For example, Bucky's feeding schedule is: 1:30a 2 servings, 6:30a 1 serving, 11:00a 2 servings, 4:30p 1 serving, & 9:00p 1 serving. The 7 total servings equals the 2 scoops of food I used to feed him per day. You can also program and record a feeding message but the recording quality is terrible so I just muted this feature. Something to note: you'll need either D batteries or a source of USB power to power it.
