Easy to use, light and small which means it is to carry it around. However, it can be used to weigh up to 5 kgs although I have never used it to weigh items that are more than 300 grams in weight. To weigh an item, if necessary you can place a container on top of the scale, tare and then place the item in the container. Also it is very easy to change the units by pressing the unit button.
