Bought as gift and they loved it!

Bought two of these for a rooftop party. Used sandbags and cinder blocks as suggested in other reviews. They held up great despite rain and light wind. They looked very stylish, especially after decorating them with lights. Highly recommend these. Also bought duct tape to reinforce the joints. Took us a couple of hours to set them up, but was not hard..

Bought this tent as we plan to have outdoor parties this summer and didn't want to suffer the midday sun like we have in the past. The box arrived with all the poles in small pieces which worried me but once I realized the pieces were numbered and you just follow the diagram it's a snap. One person could maybe do it alone with some awkwardness when trying to get top section onto the bottom legs but I would recommend 2 people. Weight it down (we used cinder blocks) and this is actually a sturdy tent. I've had it up for a month now and it has survived 2 heavy rainfalls and one pretty windy day.

Great heat management, once you get the fuel size figured out. Use more unlit charcoal than you think you would need. Does run hot the first few sessions until seasoned well. Great value and easy to break down and clean.

Happy with purchase as serves the purpose its for but be careful to put away and store safely on windy days as mine blew away.

I jumped into the smoking arena with this beauty. My first cook was an easy one, beer can chicken. I cooked two birds and my family was amazed. It took some getting used to how to manipulate the vents to control the temp. But once you get the hang of it, the rest is easy. Don't hesitate, just buy it.

Best smokers out there! I am a novice smoker and this thing makes it impossible to mess up smoking. The air vents allow you to control the temperature exactly where you need it. I have many friends who have the standard side box smoker, and their wood and charcoal will just go critical and start on fire because it is not sealed. Also they use at least 2 times the amount of charcoal that this uses. It is nice that it has the silicone ports that you can insert your probe to get accurate temperature. I have smoked briskets, baby back ribs, pork shoulders on this and all have been delicious! You will not regret this purchase!
