  I ordered this as a multi-purpose dog bed. We have a senior Maltese who has trouble with tall stairs so I didnt want a bed that was too far off the ground. I did want something that was slightly lifted though so it could also be used to take camping etc. This bed fits our small Maltese mix pooch as well as our 22 lb. mix breed well. It folds up pretty small kind of like a camp chair that you stuff in the fabric tube. While it has no padding thats fine as we just toss a blanket on top for our dogs the nest in and wash the blanket as needed.

  We purchased this cot to use when we are camping Its relatively light easy to transport and does not take up much room in the car so that is a plus. Also like that it comes with a bag to carry and store it in.
